A Wearable Solar System
Long before telescopes or equations, color is how humans have understood the universe. As part of Michigan Fashion Fest X NYFW Edition, Celestial Bodies is a fashion presentation that translates the solar system into something wearable, emotional, and alive.
This collection features 8 planetary looks, presented in cosmic order moving inward: Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Earth, Venus, and Mercury. The artist will present the sun.
Each look is created using our signature dash-dye method, where powdered, activated pigment meets water and time. Gravity becomes a collaborator. Chemistry becomes a storyteller. No two garments are identical. This show is about co-creating with the universe. Come find your spark of inspiration
