I met Kendall at the Drum Circle held at Pere Marquette Park—surrounded by rhythm, dancers, and firelight. There was a heartbeat to that space, and Kendall moved like flame itself—present, grounded, alive. That night, we connected over drumming, spinning flames, and shared reverence for what moves people at their core.
When I invited him into a Power Portrait, he immediately chose Soft Orange. We reconnected at P. J. Hoffmaster State Park with his drum in hand, ready to co-create. The waves rolled in rhythm with our steps, and Kendall danced with the sun, glowing like he’d always belonged in this color. It was less of a photo session, more of a remembering.
He told me he didn’t realize how much he needed this—to reconnect with his joy, his rhythm, his softness. Color and vibration have a way of bringing us back to our roots. Kendall’s presence—between drum beats, dog barks, and shoreline quiet—radiated a kind of healing we don’t often permit ourselves to seek.

Symbolism
Soft Orange lives in the golden hour—the light that softens everything it touches. If you’re drawn to this color, you may find power in patience, beauty in slowness, and clarity in reflection. It doesn’t demand attention, but it catches your eye anyway. This color is a gentle awakening.

Psychology
Soft Orange supports people in transition—those stepping out of survival mode into something softer. It eases nervous system tension and reminds us that slow is still sacred. It validates the need to heal before blooming again.

Energy
This hue resonates with the sacral and solar plexus chakras at a low, comforting frequency. It doesn’t roar. It hums. It integrates and restores. It creates a space where inner warmth becomes outward radiance.

Somatics
Wearing soft orange may feel like warmth spreading across your belly and chest. It encourages deep breathing, relaxed shoulders, and calm feet. It’s a color for grounding without dimming your glow.

If Soft Orange is calling to you, it may be time to quiet the noise. This color releases the pressure to perform, achieve, or prove. It says: You’re allowed to glow at your own pace. Healing counts as progress. Rest is part of the fire.
By day, Kendall Hailstone runs Earth Stewards Lawn and Garden Services, restoring balance to landscapes just as he restores joy to people: with care, intention, and a deep connection to the earth. And in Soft Orange, he was precisely that—nurturing, radiant, a flame that doesn’t burn but warms. Follow his journey here: https://www.facebook.com/earthstewardslgs
